I’ve been thinking about what to include on this site and have decided upon an initial direction. While I will write about current and future events, the focus will be on the history and heritage of this sport. It will take multiple forms but I have the overall concept mapped-out. The purpose behind this is that in looking back, we can understand the present better. Plus, there is a lot to know about Formula One going back decades so there is no shortage of material.
What will that look like?
The structure will be a series of grouped subjects. That way, the posts will have a focus that will enable the depth necessary to better understanding. Think of it as “medium form” posts that neither gloss over a given subject nor go into too much depth. Like a good designer, I seek balance.
Some of the subjects will cover:
- Formula One Firsts and Lasts, A Decade or Three Late
- “1F” is F1 Spelled Backwards
- The Men Who Built Formula One
- Odd F1 Stats and Facts
- Interesting Innovations
- Driver Profiles
There may be more but those are some ones I came up with.
Over time, this will evolve. That’s where viewer feedback comes into play, after all there is so much to cover one could get lost in it all. So let me know what you think. Thanks for coming along for the ride!
